Our guide, although he drove a little faster than we liked, was informative and sweet. The two wineries we visited were stellar and both had excellent staff and owners. The food in both wineries was delicious but the lunch at Efemia was particularly tasty. The boat ride was also a great way to get a different perspective of the Duoro Valley. It was a totally enjoyable day!

An amazing day which we initially thought sounded too good to be true. The organistion was slick and delivered totally on the package. It was a wonderful trip to the beautiful Douro Valley. We had a fantastic day filled with memorable experiences, delicious food, plenty of wine tastings, and fascinating tours of local wineries. Telma was one of the best tour guides I've ever had. She is incredibly knowledgeable, sharing a wealth of history and fascinating background stories about the region, the wine industry, and Portugal in general. She took genuine care of everyone in the group and was especially attentive to me—applying ice packs several times after I accidentally bumped my forehead while boarding the bus (so please be careful and avoid making the same clumsy mistake I did!). I feel really fortunate to have chosen this tour and to have met her.
