Everything went perfectly. From the pick-up at the port gate, to the jeep, the driver, the tour, the impressions, lunch, and the return trip. The weather cooperated nicely too—dry, with blue skies in the afternoon, and not too hot. The park was mainly home to elephants, but also buffalo, zebras, monkeys, kudus, and warthogs. We saw all of them, as well as some smaller animals. Only the lions seemed to have the day off, although the guide tried very hard to find some, but without success. The landscape is very beautiful, by the way. The park was quite busy, but not overcrowded. It was well worth it, especially when you compare the price to the excursions offered by AIDA.

A very dedicated and well-organized guide, Thabo! We got incredibly close to the elephants. We saw lots of animals. A fantastic excursion. There were three of us plus the driver. It was excellent because it was so personalized! Thabo is a top-notch guide! The vehicle was enclosed, which we initially didn't like, but it turned out to be a much better choice. It was very hot at first, so the air conditioning was great. Later it got windy and cool, and the enclosed vehicle was really good then too!

We really enjoyed the boat tour, especially climbing the dunes, which gave us a fantastic view from the top. Gliding back down was also really fun. Our guide, Robert, also provided us with excellent background information. We highly recommend the tour. As a group of four, we also had a private cruise, which we were very pleased with.


