This tour allowed us to discover the beauty of the Wallachia landscapes. We departed in January, and despite the final stretch of the Transfăgărășan being closed, we enjoyed a magnificent day and breathtaking snow-covered landscapes. A special thanks to Victor, who shared so much knowledge and passion for his work and his land. He immediately put us at ease and, in his perfect Italian, told us unforgettable stories! Great day out, remember that during the winter months the top of the mountain is closed so you won’t be able to see the iconic view, you’ll still see him great view from the drive and also the break stops and other stops. Definitely would recommend and would do again in the summer months to see the iconic views★

My guide was Otilia. Time planning was great, we had sufficient time at all destinations and attractions on the journey. Otilia was a knowledgeable and passionate guide who really shared a lot of stories about Romanian history which I found very interesting myself. However, we were unable to enter Peles Castle unless we paid extra, close to 30 euros, which is too much.★

Excellent excursion!!! Our tour guide Alex was wonderful, explanatory, kind and willing to help and answer any questions. The driver was also very careful and patient as it was snowing on the way and we had to spend more time in the coach.★
