Everything worked well with the Naples Pass. The Pompeii audio guide is not recommended at all. Herculaneum was great, with good audio guides.

The confirmation email you received has an "Important" section. According to the instructions, you need to contact the number provided to activate the card. Therefore, you can contact them the day before and activate it on the same day. Aside from that, it's a very useful card; highly recommended!
