I booked this trip last minute as my original trip to Porto was cancelled so I wasn’t sure what to expect.
My trip started at Fátima- a religious pilgrimage town. António, my tour guide explained on the way to Fátima the tell of the three child who saw the Virgin Mary. When we arrived, we were greeted with the gorgeous view of the church and a mass ongoing.
We spent roughly an hour here so I went into the church and walked around for a bit
After a hour we headed to Batalha- another religious place. We only had 20 minutes here sadly, so I just walked around.
After Batalha, we headed to seaside town of Nazaré! A famous seaside town known to surfers for the massive waves!
We spent a hour here for lunch so I grabbed something quick to eat and took some photos of the gorgeous beach!
Our last stop of the day was my favourite- the historic and medieval town of Obidos!
We only had a hour here but I enjoyed it so much! Really wish I had more time to explore Obidos!
We got back to Lisbon at around 5pm later that day. António was excellent as our tour guide. His knowledge of the historic towns were commendable and kept us engaged as he drove through the countryside of Portugal!
I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who’s interested in religion and history!★

Fantastic experience of 4 locations. A big bus was provided that included air conditioning and wifi. History was explained and time alloted to explore independently.
Because it's 4 locations in 1 day you receive a flavor of each town's culture and history.
