Fantastic! Our guide was funny, kind and so informative about Innisfallen and many other things about Killarney national park.

The location was easy to access by car and there was plenty of parking in the off season. We were promptly greeted by Martin and we quickly got underway. Martin’s kindness, humor, and deep knowledge of the area brought the entire journey to life. He shared stories, history, and local insights that you simply wouldn’t get anywhere else. His passion for Killarney and its heritage shines through in every moment. And the scenery? Absolutely breathtaking. Traveling through Killarney National Park by carriage felt like stepping into a postcard lush greenery, peaceful lakes, majestic mountains, and ancient ruins including Muckross Abbey. It was the perfect way to slow down, take in the beauty, and truly appreciate the magic of this incredible place. If you are visiting Killarney, don’t miss this experienc. McCarthy’s Carriage Rides offers charm, comfort, and authentic Irish warmth. Highly recommended!

We had our doubts, but it was worth it. The Ring of Kerry Tour took us through some of Ireland's most recognizable landscapes: from the charming but avoidable Kerry Bog Village to the village of Sneem, along beautiful stretches of the Wild Atlantic Way with views of the Skellig Islands, all the way to Killarney. My wife, Barbara, and I greatly appreciated the explanations provided by Brian, an expert, courteous, and always available guide, as well as an excellent driver. The stops, though brief and limited by the time spent on the bus, still allowed us to appreciate the beauty and atmosphere of each stop.
Reviews: Guided Killarney National Park Walking Tour
Guest User2024-09-11
We throughly enjoyed our guided walk through the Killarney National Park with Richard Clancy . He is so knowledgeable and personable , we didn’t want our walk to end. You will get to experience the splendor of Ireland off the beaten path. We even saw the rowing team!
Reviews: Killarney Highlights Walk – Castle Lake Carriage Ride

The tour was divided into two parts. The first part, with the tour guide, was interesting and entertaining despite the heavy rain. The second part, the carriage ride, was also well guided, but the promised horseback riding didn't happen. Overall, a good event.
