It was great value for money: 1000 RMB + 15 USD tip. The driver was also the tour guide, and the tour was bilingual. The tour I joined included not only Chinese people, but also people of various ethnicities.★

My daughter and I went on this tour during a 3 day Seattle visit for her 17th birthday. I would say that this tour was worth every penny! Ben was a fantastic guide and we had a lovely time. We were picked up and dropped off at our downtown hotel which was extremely convenient. We stopped part way up the mountain for a break and Ben made us coffee and served a snack of breakfast breads. Later, had a very delicious lunch (cloth napkins and everything LOL). Being July, we had gorgeous weather and the beauty of Mt. Rainier cannot be described. It was truly lovely. We saw waterfalls, a bit of snow, lakes, gorgeous views, and even a bear! Thankfully he was walking away from us, but it was very cool. This is a long day so plan accordingly (we knew that going in) but would absolutely recommend it to anyone. Ben was very gracious and considerate. He gave us so much information and was very accommodating to be sure that everyone in the group (5 of us total) had as little or as much activity as we wanted. 10/10 Highly recommend!★

I went on this tour in late April, and given the time of year there was still snow and part of the park was closed. We did love the day out, but it’s worth noting that you’re actually only in the park from 11am-3pm, with less than 3 hours of actual time out of the tour bus in the park. We did 90 minutes at the ‘main stop’ Paradise, which was brilliant and they brought us snowshoes to use and hike around in—we loved it and the views were stunning. Then we did 25 minutes at the Naranda waterfall (definitely walk down to the bottom of the falls!), and 30 minutes at Longmire before snapping a photo at the Rainier National Park sign & then heading back to Seattle at around 3pm. We were a bit surprised given the high price of the tour and wish we had more time in the park or another small hike included, but this could vary depending on time of year. Overall it was a great day !★

Went yesterday and absolutely loved it. Definitely recommend for the stunning views. Started at 9am and came back by 7.40… actual hike was from 1-4pm (paradise hike/picnic area). After the paraside hike, saw 2 waterfallls and walked around forest. Susan is very knowledgeable and great guide- very patient. She also has light lunch/snacks available. Definitely worth it !★

I am truly very grateful for Susan’s help. She explained the entire itinerary in great detail, prepared snowshoes and trekking poles for us, and even lent me her sunglasses. Mount Rainier was absolutely beautiful. We didn’t just play in the snow—we also camped on the mountain and had lunch there. On our way down, we visited the forests and waterfalls in the national park as well. Thank you, Susan, for all the help you gave our group. Although my English is not very good and I couldn’t understand many words, I could still clearly feel Susan’s enthusiasm and professionalism.
