We went there on Sunday, July 17th, as a couple for a cellar tour, and I was impressed by the quality of the explanations about the champagne production process given by Emma, a young expert. She switched between French and English as if it were her native language, and her information was very clear and engaging. We could even ask questions. This was followed by a blind tasting in a small group of eight of several delicious champagnes from their production, in a cozy room, around a beautiful table, accompanied by homemade gougères—my mouth is watering just thinking about them. There was also a fun and interesting quiz to identify Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier grapes, as well as the different aromas among eight or ten different flavors. It was the best experience of our trip. Next time... we'll come to try their menu and their bed and breakfast. Stephanie and Alain

Fantastic! It’s one of the best things to do in e area; very local, authentic with environmental purpose and relaxing over a glass of Champagne. The couple who owns and runs the boat are very charming, knowledgeable (we asked many questions), speak very good English and will give you local tips. We learned a lot in a non-over-touristic way. It’s a MUST. P.s. We enjoyed it so much that we are planing to return with our 2 grownup daughters for a multi day sailing on the Marne with them.

Take a look with one of the smaller champagne houses and you will be surprised. Nice setting - lots of info on the proces of making the champagne- a fun quiz and of course a good variety of champagnes. Add an enthusiastic guide and a really nice lunch and you have a lovely half day to spent. Highly recommended. And take a stroll after the tour through the vineyards or town ti even the alcohol in your blood 🙏


