Easy and convenient to book and use. guide onboard the hop on hop off bus shares a brief description of what we see along the way and some background history too. we also booked the walking tour, takes approximately 2 hours (at no extra charge) which was also very informative. guide is very knowledgeable and interesting!

I had a fantastic experience on this tour of the Italian Market—or as our guide Chuck proudly called it, 9th Street market. He was incredibly insightful and informative, sharing not just the history of the market but also the stories behind the vendors, the food, and the neighborhood’s culture. What stood out most was how engaging he was—he made every stop feel meaningful, pointing out details I definitely would have missed on my own. You can tell he really knows and cares about the area. Highly recommend this tour with Chuck if you want a deeper, more authentic understanding of Philly’s food scene and history.


