Positano was beautiful but we were told 3 hours but we only had 2 hours in there so was no time to eat or swim or just soak it up

This is a handy a stress free way to explore Vesuvius from Pompeii if you don’t want to rely on public transport. The communication was clear beforehand and the mini bus to and from Vesuvius was fine. Once you arrive you are left to your own devices and have plenty of time to make it to the caldera, spend some time and come back.
