The tour wasn't a half-day one, as the title suggested. It only lasted 2.5 hours. We took a boat ride around the island, along the river and through the mangroves, stopped at a bat cave, saw eagles (we didn't feed them, as stated), and also stopped for lunch. Everything went very quickly. I wish it had lasted longer.★

The itinerary was good. The only drawback was that we wasted 40 minutes at the hotel. Otherwise, the actual tour time was about 2 hours. The price was okay. It would have been cheaper if we had booked locally. The online service was very good.★

The departure from Koh Lipe to Langkawi took place from the pier on the left. We were facing the sea. We checked in quickly because we bought our tickets in advance on TripCom. Just show your printed ticket. They give you a sticker for your T-shirt and luggage. You also get tickets for later with a queue number. You wait until your turn is called, then calmly board and set off on a short journey across the water. The ferry is large and comfortable. It doesn't feel the waves. It's a comfortable way to travel between islands.★

Booking was easy; we arrived about an hour and a half early, but we managed without speaking English. The boat was quick. I didn't like that they stowed our luggage right inside, and the front rows were piled high with suitcases! The boat shook a bit and all the suitcases fell out, but they seemed to be intact, otherwise it was fine!
