The Pitti Palace was amazing, but I was a bit disappointed with the garden. I expected that due to the season (late December), most of the plants would be sadly dormant, but I hadn't counted on the numerous construction machines, trenches, and fences around monuments and fountains. It was easy to get lost; there was no order to the visits, so some areas had to be visited several times.
