Ronnie the guide was personable and knew the island. Having the small group was far better than the large bus tours offered by our cruise ship. We had a good overview of Tahiti and additional info about some of the other islands.

A superb experience! The catamaran is spacious with a deck, and the crossing takes between 2.5 and 3 hours. The crew is fantastic throughout the day! Once in Tetiaroa, there's a 30-minute to 1-hour walk with swimming; the lagoon's colors are truly breathtaking. Bring water shoes or sneakers. Then it's back to the catamaran for lunch, prepared fresh by the crew, and you can also snorkel around the catamaran (on the other side of the lagoon). Highly recommended!

The most insightful tour of our whole Polynesia trip. We spent around 3.5 weeks in French Polynesia and before heading home we had already booked this tour, so glad we did! We were guided by Tracey, who was absolutely lovely and an amazing guide. While this tour could be a bit more expensive than others, it is truly worth it. We learned so much about the island, its culture and Polynesia overall. She also connected experiences by comparing islands we had visited with those other guests were still going to visit, which made it even more interesting. A highlight was the experience with a local school (which happens only about once every eight months). We felt very lucky. The students showed us how to tie a dress, play instruments and open and grate a coconut. Such an authentic experience! We loved the strong focus on local culture. Even if you don’t get this exact school experience, I’m sure you’ll have another amazing cultural higlight. She knows the locals incredibly well.
