A lovely excursion. The only slightly annoying thing was that the group was guided bilingually, and we had to wait quite a while until the guide had explained everything in both languages. We had actually only selected English when booking. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the Cullebrillas Gorge. The fact that you should bring insect repellent isn't mentioned anywhere and wasn't included in the list of tips we received beforehand. However, the guide on the bus mentioned it right at the start of the tour.

I had an absolutely unforgettable experience on the Salkantay Trek! The entire organization was top-notch – everything ran smoothly from start to finish. I'd especially like to commend our guide, Rodri: he was simply fantastic! Super friendly, motivating, and extremely knowledgeable. He not only guided us safely through the breathtaking landscape but also provided a wealth of fascinating information about the region, its culture, and nature. The route itself is stunning – varied, challenging, and full of unforgettable views. The food and accommodations were also significantly better than I had expected. I can wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an adventure in Peru. With Rodri as your guide, it's guaranteed to be a truly special experience. 5 stars – absolutely deserved!
