Our guide, although he drove a little faster than we liked, was informative and sweet. The two wineries we visited were stellar and both had excellent staff and owners. The food in both wineries was delicious but the lunch at Efemia was particularly tasty. The boat ride was also a great way to get a different perspective of the Duoro Valley. It was a totally enjoyable day!★

Fantastic! The guides were very jolly and helpful. They were very knowledgeable in wine production and were very open to questions. The wine was virtually unlimited and food was very generous in servings. GREAT VALUE! Special mention for our driver and guide Jose who was very sensitive to everyone’s needs.★

Lawrence was the best tour guide. He was personable, kind, and very knowledgable. You can tell he really loves what he does. Lawrence felt more like a friend than a guide. He brought the energy when we needed it, and he was very comfortable with the establishments we visited. We felt we were in great hands the whole trip! It was a wonderful trip to the beautiful Douro Valley. We had a fantastic day filled with memorable experiences, delicious food, plenty of wine tastings, and fascinating tours of local wineries.
Telma was one of the best tour guides I've ever had. She is incredibly knowledgeable, sharing a wealth of history and fascinating background stories about the region, the wine industry, and Portugal in general. She took genuine care of everyone in the group and was especially attentive to me—applying ice packs several times after I accidentally bumped my forehead while boarding the bus (so please be careful and avoid making the same clumsy mistake I did!).
I feel really fortunate to have chosen this tour and to have met her.★

We booked this trip for my 45th birthday and it was truly incredible. I kept having to pinch myself. Everything was so so beautiful and the settings were jaw dropping.
I can’t recommend this trip enough. Both informative but also fun.
Everything was so well organised and our guide Sara was incredible!
We loved our lunch under the vine leaves overlooking the vineyards with scenery for days. We went with such a lovely group of people and I loved that we all sat together at lunch and got to know each other.
The boat trip was also a highlight. What a lovely way to spend the afternoon!
