It was an incredible tour. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and fun. They tailored the trip to what would be best for the weather and made the whole experience very enjoyable. Stopping for a cuppa at a picturesque spot is a bonus too.★

Knowledge and living beings at one place. You would love to come here as family, kids as couple or a solo traveller. This place has to offer to everyone. The blue penguins looks unbelievably tiny and Beautiful like a mechanical toy. So cute to experience them. Its a rescue center and they are kept in the real enviornment as much as possible. The kiwis here are not in glass which is different from other Wild Life center. Do not miss the penguin feeding time. This place covers the knowledge and information about glacier, wilf life, environment in general. There are videos to watch on a sofa to explore maori culture and the west coast in general. The things to buy here are cheaper and unique than the other places. I bought merino possom caps for family. People are very nice except the lady at the ice cream point. Ice creams are also good there. I was here for couple of hours. I just loved being there. As a woman from the emerging economy country, this was slightly expensive but not much★

We had an awesome morning out on the lake with Pickles (and Oscar), he was welcoming from the start and was full of knowledge about the lake and surrounding area. We had the lake all to ourselves and thoroughly enjoyed the views as well as the laughs, stories and knowledge Pickles shared with us. We would all highly recommend a kayaking trip with the guys, it’s been one of our favourite activities of the trip! Thanks again Pickles and Oscar, from Lewis, Conn, Molly and Lexi!★

The cruise was beautiful and peaceful, and the guided rainforest walk was extremely informative. We learnt about invasive species, trapping methods, and the various plants in the verdant rainforest. Dale, our guide, was funny and knowledgeable, and ensured we were well taken care of throughout the cruise and walk. Highly recommended!
