The tour guide was super nice, and the lunch was delicious, a barbecue buffet. The itinerary was very reasonable. My group was basically a private tour, with only four of us! Of course, the weather was very bad, which was a good thing because it was low season. I couldn't see anything about the Christ the Redeemer statue, and the Theron Steps were also very boring. The church itself was only worth visiting, and the Christ the Redeemer statue was worthwhile.★

Absolutely one of the must-do things in Rio de Janeiro. It's very cold in the mornings (we went in July), but the water is still warm. We recommend bringing a thermal shirt and pants to keep on during the experience. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable, and managed to keep everyone occupied despite the large crowd.★

Super fun event, especially as a solo traveler. The caipirinhas I learned to make were sweet, but a bit strong, the people in the hostel were super friendly, and the dance class was hella fun. It's not step by step instructions, but give it a try. You'll probably burn off one of the caipirinhas you made by the time the hour is done.
