I was unsure about the meeting place, so I came to check it out beforehand, confirmed with the staff that it was the right place, and then made a reservation on the spot. The staff were very kind! Each gondola holds 5 people. The ride takes about 30 minutes. If you're not particular about the route, I think this experience is great! However, there was no walking guide as described.

A wonderful tour of the Doge's Palace with a perfect guide who provided clear and very interesting commentary! The one-hour tour ends with a visit to the Bridge of Sighs and the prisons, but you can easily repeat the entire tour to appreciate the palace again, as long as you stay within the grounds. Note that the entrance ticket also grants you access to the Corre Museum, located next door, on the same day and the following day... a visit not to be missed!

Our Guide, Andrew Parker, was most entertaining with his facts and anecdotes. It seemed a privilege to walk around the grounds of various colleges and get a feel for the college experience. It was helpful to identify the institutions of the University and City.

I absolutely loved this tour! James was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable of the areas we went & had a great sense of humor. I loved the Cotswolds Villages the most- so beautiful & quaint. Oxford was absolutely stunning! Lots of things to do to keep you busy. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe the entire trip. All instructions for meet up points and time were clear. Highly recommend!


