A wonderful excursion allowing us to discover the magnificent landscapes of the Lyngen Alps. The two guides were very attentive and friendly. Everything was very well organized from the departure from Tromsø to the site.

I had the best day doing this tour! Toto and Johnno were excellent guides, and I never once felt left out despite being there solo. I got to practice some Spanish which was a great bonus, but also it helped me feel really involved and like they really care that everyone has a good time. All of the transport was smooth there and back and I'd definitely recommend everyone does it. I'd do it again in a heartbeat, thank you so much :)

Reviews: Reindeer feeding & Saami Culture
Guest User2025-01-06
This was a Christmas activity for our family of 5 as we celebrated in Tromso. It is a must-do experience for anyone visiting to enjoy this and learn about the Sami culture. It is a 45-minute journey from Tromso with an amazing view of the snow mountains. You are free to feed and take pictures with the reindeer for around the hour. The main hall is warm and has bread, tea, and hot chocolate. Lunch was bidos (reindeer stew) or vegetarian. Then, a sharing was done by John who is from northern Sami where he shared about customs, reindeers, gakti, etc. Weather is a huge factor in these trips and the tour bus could not return to us for pickup - with an hour’s delay, the crew was very apologetic and hardworking, arranging alternative transport on two smaller Mercedes vans. This experience was memorable and I highly recommend it for the exposure with lovely people!
Reviews: Tromsø: Entrance Ticket to Polaria

Polaria was a beautiful experience for our last day in Tromsø! It was snowing quite a lot outside so we were thankful to be in a closed space. The seal feeding show is the absolute highlight, don’t miss it!!! We also really enjoyed seeing jellyfish, starfish, cod (and more). The panoramic theatre was a really nice bonus: we watched the northern lights and the Svalbard presentations and they were lovely. You can probably see everything in this museum in around 2h, which is the amount of time we spent there. Definitely worth a visit!
