Reviews: Punta Arenas: Magdalena Island Navigation & Penguin Walk
Guest User2026-01-21
Smooth sail, the island walk is excellent, very professional and very rewarding. It’s the closest you can get to actually touching nature without damaging it whatsoever. The guide was very knowledgeable. I strongly recommend.
Reviews: Punta Arenas: Fuerte Bulnes Shore Tour for Cruisers
Guest User2025-04-22
The visit to Fuerte Bulnes was one of the best surprises of the trip. The place is steeped in history and superbly maintained. The observation center has incredible views of the Strait of Magellan, and the hike along the trails is short but beautiful, with landscapes worth every step. Our guide, Romina, was a luxury. Super clear, fun, and incredibly informative. You could tell she loves what she does, and that came through at all times. We arrived in Punta Arenas by cruise ship and wanted to do something different since many of our friends were on a classic city tour, and we'd read that it didn't offer much to see. Luckily, we chose this tour, which is 100% recommended: nature, history, and views you won't forget.
Reviews: Full Day Tour from Cartagena through Barranquilla and Santa Marta
Guest User2024-06-21
The tour takes a complete day and you will ended it up exhausted. If is a 4h drive back to Cartagena once it ends. They provide you with a breakfast (arepa de huevo) in Barranquilla and simple basic lunch at a local humble hotel in Santa Marta. No food allergies are taken into consideration just be mindful of it. You get a brief visit to Barranquilla, where you can take photos with the city letters name and a couple of monuments. Once in Santa Marta we got an amazing tour and information about their historic city, photos at the city letter name and visit their museum. Finally they take you to the beach which unfortunately is not quite planned nor explained, basically, you get there and have around 2.5 hours on your own. The bus was comfortable and it had great AC on. On our way back we had issues with a flat tire which delayed the return for about 40 minutes. The guides were informative and fun. We got to meet many people from several countries which is always nice. If you only have one day, I would say to do it but if you want to know a little bit more about Barranquilla or stay longer in Santa Marta's beaches, you may need to look for another tour.
Reviews: Santa Marta: Sailboat day tour to Tayrona Park
Guest User2026-01-29
We had a perfect day tour. Everything was well organized, the food was great and the crew members were all very friendly and helpful. The boat stopped at one of the ends of the bay, so we basically had that part of the beach for ourselves, which was convenient because the other end of the beach was crowded. Bahia Concha has a wonderful white sand beach and crystal-clear turquoise waters. We recommend this tour 100%.
Reviews: Old Town and Quinta San Pedro Santa Marta City Tour
Guest User2024-01-14
Andres was an excellent tour guide and was so knowledgeable about the history of Santa Marta. He was also very easy going and fun to spend the day with. We first walked around the historic Old Town. He first walked us thru the gold museum explaining the importance of gold to the region. We then went to the Cathedral, the City Square and he even showed us the oldest Hostel in the city. We then drove to the suburbs to visit the Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, which was the house of the hacienda that was lent to Simon Bolivar in 1830. He was the liberator of Columbia and several other South American countries. He spent his final days there and passed away there. The house and grounds are a memorial to him and the area was beautiful. All in all it was a great trip and I highly recommend this tour and Andres!
