It was a truly personalized experience, not a mass-market tour at all. Alan is not only an experienced guide, but also incredibly friendly and treated us to a picnic with New Zealand specialties at a spot with a fantastic view. Highly recommended. Our driver Nick is nice and has passion for introducing the lakes and mountains. The hiking is easy to handle even for a senior lady. The lunch bag is amazing, the bakery that Nick went pick up before the trip is delicious and fresh. The sightseeing is memorable and the trip is comfy.★

Very nice! Akoroa was such a cute village and the stops along the way were pleasant surprises! Tasted and bought some cheese and had contracted for the lunch which was DELICIOUS! I had the salmon and my husband had the fish and chips. The crew on the boat were equally as helpful and got into some fun conversations with Ben who helped spot those dolphins and a few penguins.★
