I thought I could take the elevator up to the terrace, but the last set of stairs was tough! The stairs going down were also tough! But the view of the cathedral from the terrace and the inside of the cathedral are both amazing! If you're planning a trip to Milan, be sure to climb the terrace as well! It's worth it!★

Visiting the Duomo di Milano is a truly wonderful experience. I especially enjoyed the underground sections – the opportunity to see ancient Roman ruins and original artifacts is truly impressive and allows you to truly feel the history of this place. The cathedral's interior is monumental and very atmospheric. The terraces are also worth seeing, although during my visit, there was a lot of scaffolding, which limited the views somewhat. The guide was a big plus – she was very knowledgeable, engaging, and had an engaging story, which made the whole experience even more engaging. I highly recommend it and highly recommend it.Trip.com Picks
