This is an eSIM card that requires passport registration and login; its main function is probably for making calls. Having a phone is very convenient; you can use it to order food delivery or hail a ride using Grab locally. Since we forgot to register at the Taiwan airport, we found a small SIM card counter at the local airport, and the staff were very helpful in registering us. After registration, we could use the internet and make calls. During my trip to Bangkok and surrounding attractions, the internet connection was perfect, with no lag or buffering issues.★
