This was one of the best tours I have been on. Our tour guide, Alastair Sim, was phenomenal. He adapted to all of our needs--short time, a member of our party in a wheel chair, and our desires of what to see. When he learned we'd already taken a tour of the Castle, he asked what we wanted to see. We didn't know, so he prompted with questions like: Do you like Game of Thrones or Harry Potter. We responded that we liked Harry Potter.
Alastair then completely changed what he had originally planned and took us on a good walking tour that included many wonderful sites in Edinburgh along with a few specific to Harry Potter, but not limited just to HP. He was kind and patient as we pushed a wheel chair up steep hills and over cobblestone roads. His knowledge of Scotland was phenomenal. If you can get Alastair on a tour, you will be in for a treat!★

One adult and three teenagers went on a tour with Tony for a 16 year old Beatles mad girl’s birthday present. Tony was so knowledgeable and really took time to tell us about the history and stories of each place and made sure we got our photos even if it meant hanging around for others to leave for a quieter opportunity. You can tell he is a proud Liverpudlian who loves the history of his city. Something different for everyone. My son really wanted to see Eleanor Rigby’s grave and was not disappointed, whereas I was quite taken with Strawberry Fields. My daughter loved every second and showing off her already extensive Beatles knowledge. It was great to bring places to life you have only ever heard about in songs before. Just the right length of time at 3-3.5 hours. Highly recommended. ★

Amazing tour, even better tour guide! We had Nick for this tour and he wasn’t only a plethora of information, but very passionate about what he does. There is so much information that you will leave that elevates the entire experience. We stopped at the CUTEST little pub for lunch and the food was divine. This tour is a must do! 10/10!★
