The beachfront hotels are similar to most resort hotels, but the Royal Peterman Hotel in Ubud is nestled in the mountains, featuring individual villas with swimming pools and a river that flows through the hotel for rafting – quite unique. Local prices are reasonable; a car hire for a day with a driver costs 30 USD. Overall, it was a good experience and worth returning to.
My flight was delayed by a day, and the hotel arrangement was changed to a 1+2+1 package. The fact that the two hotels were far apart wasn't clearly explained, making the trip quite inconvenient.★

The park is huge. Definitely take the electric cart!
Entering the park in the morning felt wonderful. It was misty, a bit chilly, and surrounded by lush greenery—the air was incredibly fresh!
I visited the artificial area and also hiked the Green Stone Forest. Finally, I stopped briefly in the tropical area, but after the hike, it didn't seem so appealing anymore.★

It is a great way to connect from the Chengdu train, bus waited at the car park upon our arrival, The driver advised us to align the nearest drop off point which is 5 min walk to the hotel. The return trip only has limited pickup points, Can easily Didi around 10+ yen.Trip.com picks
