We had no problems at all; we entered different countries using the same SIM card without changing it, and despite this, the SIM card automatically switched according to the country, and we didn't have to do anything.★

Everything's great! But since we have worldwide coverage, if you activate it in Russia, it's blocked for 24 hours, but when you arrive in another country, the activation is removed.★

Nature and the route 👌 I wish we'd spent a little more time at the lakes. The only thing is, we booked a Russian-speaking guide to hear interesting facts about the places, but it turned out that there were only two Russian speakers in the entire group, and they often forgot to translate for us (we don't know English, so sometimes we had to ask).★

This is a solid one-day activity to experience the Kazakh outdoors. We went to 5 sites, including a ride on an old Soviet bus and a pony, with a delicious lunch at a local home. If you have more time, stretching it to a two-day trip with an overnight stay in a yurt would probably be better but if you only have a day to spare, do this. We had a pleasant guide, Naz, and driver and they managed a packed day without us feeling too rushed.
