It was a very pleasant trip. Thanks to our guide, Miss Selina, for taking us on a day trip. She was very warm and gentle, and took very good care of us. We even drank Aso milk. Looking forward to our next trip to Kyushu!
In order to make up the hotel of Kurokawa Hot Spring on May 1, 3 attractions, Asu volcano, Kurokawa Hot Spring, Kurokawa Hot Spring, relying on public transportation, can not be completed in one day, the Kurokawa Hot Spring hiking route on the second day does not want to give up, so I chose a day trip. In the morning 7.30 gather in the square in front of Hakata Station, 7.50 set off, stop in the Beikumamoto service area in the middle, about 10 o'clock to the shrine mountain, after 1 hour of play, the bus directly came to the Asu crater 11.40, no need to transfer the shuttle bus, very convenient. Although it is cloudy, the air is fresh, and the visibility is high. The Asu crater is open. It takes about 25 minutes to play. 12.10 set off to Caoqianli for dinner, 13.20 set off to Kurochuan Hot Spring, 12.30 arrived on time, and we took off the group to the hotel. The tour guide was very responsible and communicated with the hotel to pick us up in the parking lot. He arrived at the hotel smoothly and arrived half an hour earlier than the Jiuzhou Cross-Broken Bus. Although each attraction has a compact time, you can see it. The small * book has a guide completed on the same day as Asu and the shrine. Asu has less time to play than a day trip. The shrine can play for 2 hours and spend a lot of time on transfer traffic. Forget it, the cost of taking public transportation by yourself is much greater than the group fee. All the way to the mountain, up and down the mountain, enjoy the beautiful rural scenery of Japan in spring, more than JR, it is highly recommended.

Product reviews: Kumamoto Castle & Aso Crater Exploration, Kusasenri Horseback Riding, Depart from Fukuoka/Kumamoto

The meeting point was right by the Starbucks at the east-shiroku exit of Hakata Station, and we departed right on time. Some tourists overslept and didn't even wait. They were very punctual.
The bus was in excellent condition, with plenty of air conditioning. The guide was very welcoming.
Kumamoto Castle and Mount Aso were both great. Despite the heat, Kumamoto Castle was worth visiting; it's air-conditioned and offers a panoramic view from above. There were also many delicious dishes on the first floor. The horse meat fried cakes were delicious, and the limited-edition watermelon soda was very quenching.
Due to Mount Aso's active season, we couldn't get the bus to our nearest viewing location, which was a shame.
The ice cream on the mountain was delicious and worth trying. The set lunch menu was also good, though a bit pricey up there. The air was nice, and walking on the grass was much cooler than at the foot of the mountain.

Product reviews: Kyushu Nature Escape Day Tour: Takachiho Gorge, Amano-Iwato & More

The sky is not beautiful, this day trip almost spent the whole trip in the rainstorm. Also because the rainstorm train 🚄 was out of service and did not sit. Tian'an Heyuan also failed to go because the water level was too high.
Fortunately, when I was playing Gaoqiansui Gorge, it rained in the first half of the time and walked a short mountain road. It only takes about 6 hours to get back and forth, and there are nearly an hour of rugged mountain roads back and forth. If there is a history of motion sickness, the treasures should take motion sickness medicine in advance, otherwise it is really not very good.
I have been to Japan more than ten times. I chose a day trip for the first time. The price is relatively high, but the time with the group tour may be closer, and some people are watching the flowers. If you are afraid of trouble and don't want to bother, you can choose. If you want to have more fun, it will be better to choose other ways. 🫶

Product reviews: 1-day tour to Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine in Kumamoto + Takachiho Gorge in Miyazaki + Amanoiwato Shrine, with autumn foliage viewing

The scenery along the way was worth the price of admission. It was so beautiful the whole way. I kept taking photos with my camera. The guide, Heather, was also very sweet and considerate. I even made some friends along the way. It was fun. Although it rained heavily and my shoes got soaked, Kitakyushu has a unique charm in the rain.

Tours seemed like a waste of time. I had a preconceived notion that they'd be pushy tour packages, so I didn't really think about it. But this time, I came to Fukuoka for 6 nights and 7 days without a plan and didn't know what to do, so I signed up for a day tour. To cut to the chase, I realized my old-fashioned preconceptions were just wrong. The bus schedule was perfect, allowing me to explore each location, take photos, and buy souvenirs. The bus was perfectly timed, allowing me to sit down and enjoy the ride almost on time. The guide explained each point thoroughly, so it felt different to just see it for myself. The guide also shared many travel tips and made the conversation fun, which was incredibly informative. I went solo, but the guide let me sit with someone traveling alone, so we could chat and even if I couldn't hear the guide, someone else would be able to help me, which made me feel less lonely and less nervous. I think I'll probably be on a tour tomorrow and the day after. Thank you so much to our guide, Jeong Wi-jun, for introducing me to the joys of tours!
