I got 5GB, it's more than enough. I spent almost the entire day video chatting, sending photos and videos, and it handled everything perfectly. But for some reason, it wouldn't work at times. Sometimes I'd reconnect, but that didn't always help. Maybe the connection itself isn't that great in Venice. I haven't tried it in other cities yet. Even on the train, I had good reception.

We went on a smaller boat, but there were 8 of us in the group, so it was easy. It took a while to find the dolphins, but we finally found them. The cave and swimming in the sea were great. I recommend it.
