We bought a physical card in China, and I got an eSIM, so I have something to compare it to. The network is excellent; it worked even in the mountains, where the physical Chinese card didn't, and the signal is better than Wi-Fi. Sharing between two phones doesn't reduce speed, unlike with a physical card. I bought the cards to have a connection when there's no Wi-Fi, and I ended up using them all the time. In Korea, the coverage is a little worse than in China, but it still works fine.

The service (or app) I used this time left a very strong impression on me due to its excellent communication environment and ease of use. First, the stability of the connection was outstanding. It's very practical, but it's a bit of a loss if the railway is operating in winter. Hokkaido has beautiful scenery, but train tickets are too expensive. Using this is more cost-effective if you're visiting multiple places. However, if there's a blizzard and the railway stops, there are no refunds.

It was pretty good. The tour guide was very responsible, explaining things to tourists from different cultural backgrounds in Chinese, Japanese, and English. He proactively took photos for us at the attractions and we visited all the places he recommended. There was no shopping during the trip, which was great! We visited the Blue Pond, Shirahige Falls, and Asahiyama Zoo. The Blue Pond's colors are beautiful and it's worth a visit! Early May is cherry blossom season 🌸 The cherry blossoms at Asahiyama Zoo are beautiful, and you can often see beautiful cherry blossoms along the roadside.
