Reviews: Borobudur & Prambanan Temples | Multilingual Guide

I went on a tour with Guide Park Jeon-eo last Sunday. Although he is a local Indonesian, he speaks Korean fluently, so I had no trouble understanding. Visiting Borobudur on your own is very difficult, so I hope this review helps make it easier for Koreans to access the site.

Reviews: 1-day tour of Yogyakarta, Borobudur Temple, Keraton Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat, and Prambanan Temple

Overall, the tour was a good experience. Although our guide, Ifan, and driver, Aping, were both Indonesian-born Chinese, their Mandarin was excellent. They proactively shared their Indonesian lifestyle and culture, and provided detailed explanations of the attractions we visited. Before departure, because I was busy with the itinerary, I didn't check the guide's messages in time, and their team made a great effort to contact me to inform me of the early departure. Besides the guide, the driver was also very talkative and enthusiastically shared information about the local Chinese community.

Reviews: Yogyakarta: Borobudur Temple + Mount Merapi + Prambanan [includes admission ticket/door-to-door transfer]

We really enjoyed the tour; the locations were simply incredible. We were a little unlucky with the weather, as we arrived during the rainy season, but our guide found us an umbrella and lent us his own. It was a great tour.

Reviews: Yogyakarta 1-day tour [optional Borobudur Temple | Prambanan | Jomblang Cave | Mount Merapi]
Guest User2026-11-04
Although the price wasn't cheap, the driver's service was excellent. He was attentive in every way, and communication was great throughout the trip. He acted as both driver and tour guide, proactively introducing many places and taking us to the very end of each attraction. We were very satisfied with our visit. He always made sure to turn on the air conditioning beforehand.

Reviews: Borobudur Temple, Merapi (Kaliadem), and Prambanan Temple | Multilingual Guide

It happened to be a one-on-one tour, and I was very satisfied with the content. The guide was fluent in Japanese, so it was perfect, and he was very considerate and took lots of photos. This price does not include tickets, so it was quite a splurge of about 13,000 yen extra! (Borobudur about 450k, Prambanan Temple 400k, Mount Merapi attraction 450k rupiah). I especially recommend it for those who want to know more about history!
