I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy this trip as much as I did. From the beginning, everything felt smooth and well organized. Svet was not just knowledgeable, but also very attentive—he kept checking on everyone and made sure no one was left behind, which I really appreciated. His way of explaining history was simple, engaging, and never boring. Peter, our driver, was calm and professional, and I felt completely safe throughout the journey. The timing was spot on, and we had enough time to explore both Plovdiv and Koprivshtitsa without feeling rushed. Overall, it was a really pleasant and stress-free experience. If you’re thinking of visiting these places, I’d definitely recommend joining this tour—it made the whole trip so much easier and more enjoyable.

I was sceptical at first because of the price of the e-sim (for less than £3 I got a 7 day sim with 10gb) I used this in Albania and had no problems at all. Service was good and I was able to connect to the internet at all times.

A fantastic experience! Both attractions are well worth visiting. Those who enjoy history and culture shouldn't miss Boyana Cathedral; it's small, but the frescoes inside are fascinating (one depicts the Last Supper, predating Leonardo da Vinci's version, with a completely different composition). Our guide, Martin, was incredibly kind and his explanations were very entertaining, like listening to a stand-up comedy routine—he really knew how to keep everyone engaged. Also, if you buy bread outside the Rila Monastery, there are three types. The best is the Traditional (middle denomination, 1 local currency). The other two are enormous, weighing a pound (750 grams)! The day before the trip, you'll receive an email with the meeting time and guide's name; arriving 10 minutes early is usually sufficient.


