A must-have for Aussies traveling to Asia – huge savings compared to roaming Rating: 5/5. This was my second time using this eSIM, and I can confidently say it's a game-changer for Australians traveling to Asia. I did the math, and the cost savings are significant. To put it in perspective, I looked at the big Australian telcos' roaming fees: · Vodafone & Optus have a daily roaming rate of AUD $5 for international data. · Telstra's similar plan will cost you AUD $10 per day. For a 10-day trip, that's an eye-watering AUD $50 to $100 in roaming fees alone. Then there's the value when compared to other eSIMs. For example, a popular provider like Airalo charges around AUD $37.50 for a 10GB/30-day plan for a single country like Indonesia. However, this Trip.com eSIM gave me connectivity across multiple countries in Asia at a fraction of that cost. It's very easy to set up, and in case of emergency, the support team responds quickly. We stopped the data plan because it was difficult to track how much we were spending. We thought we were low, but it turned out we'd used it all. That was probably the only annoying issue. But that was with our previous SIM card; this time, we've learned how to monitor it via mobile data and set daily limits. We recommend it.

I bought the SIM card for a trip to Latin America, and it worked everywhere except Bolivia, as stated in the plan. In Peru, the connection was often lost, and I had to manually select a carrier, but this could be due to the mountainous terrain. Overall, I recommend it.
