Reviews: Full-Day tour to Saint-Emilion and Margaux, from Bordeaux
Guest User2024-09-28
This is a great all day tour for anyone keen on learning about two of the wine regions in Bordeaux. But be warned, they will NOT wait for you if you’re late for the pickup. I got stuck in traffic and got there 15 minutes late - I ended up finding my way to Saint-Emilion to join the group. So plan PLENTY of time to travel to the meeting point. Overall, I learned a lot on the tour. The guide, Valentin, was friendly and so were the guides we met at the various châteaux. Also, the lunch was delicious!

Our guide, Hugo , was fantastic. His knowledge was excellent and he spoke perfect English. He had all kinds of interesting facts about the region and wines in general. The small chateau we visited was wonderful and actually preferable to a much larger chateau

Reviews: Bordeaux: River Cruise with Commentary, Wine and Canelé

I booked this river cruise two different times within the same month and got two very different experiences. Different boats, different tour guides. One was definitely more enjoyable than the other - a nicer boat and a more informative tour guide.
