The bus from Otaru to the airport takes about 90 minutes, which is very convenient and punctual. It is an option besides taking the JR train, but there are only two buses a day.

It was all very good! I just wish we could have stayed a little longer at certain stops, and most importantly, THERE HAS TO BE A BATHROOM ON THE BUS!!!!
