This was a beautiful and fun experience. Our kids are 17 and 14 and they absolutely loved it! In addition to the excitement of the rapids, our guide was fun and also knowledgeable when we asked questions about trees and wildlife on the river.

Most amazing boating experience we have done! This is my 6th time in Costa Rica and 1st time using Lazy Lizard. I will only use them from now on. From the gorgeous 47 foot boat, impressive selection of drinks, delicious food and best crew ever….we felt like royalty! We went to a private little island, snorkeled, saw sting rays, puffer fish and all kinds of colorful fish! We loved it so much we tried to book it again, but they were sold out. I can’t wait to rent this one again!

Our surf instructors were great!!! We were a group of 8, four kids ages 7-12 and 4 adults, all beginners. They gave us one main instructor to go over the basics, then paired the two older and the two younger kids each with their own person. We all got up on the board- everything was really fun/ safe. Lots of memories made and this was the best deal on the beach. Most folks are charging anywhere from $55-100. I had such a great time I decided to keep booking a lesson a day with *** for whomever in the family wanted to continue.

It was a unique experience; we saw dolphins swimming very close to us from the boat, almost touching them with our toes. An unexpected surprise: we also saw a huge whale breaching near us.


