I activated my ESIM at the airport using a QR code. It was quick and easy, following the instructions provided. Internet was available immediately after landing, within 3-5 minutes. I didn't use customer support. The internet connection was good, but there were a few times when search pages wouldn't load. The 2GB of daily data was enough for chatting, sharing photos, searching for information, and using maps.

I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.
