The tour to Antelope Island at sunset was beautiful! Our friendly tour guide picked us up and dropped us back off at convenient pre-designated locations. He shared lots of interesting information about the area and animals en route and on site. He provided water and snacks as well. We saw more buffalo than I expected to see, and the sunset views were amazing! Be prepared for a lot of walking up an incline on rocky terrain. Much thanks to our tour guide for providing mosquito nets and hats to keep out the annoying biting flies/gnats. I think the $145 tour was a bit expensive being that the island entree fee is less than $20. However, I only had one evening of free time to go on an excursion before I left Utah, so I paid it.

Bought 500mb sim card but is enough to use maps and search some things up. Good for 1 day and very cheap. Lasts all day as well which is another positive. Highly recommend

Who knew you could see so many stars so close to SLC? Great drive out with history and natural tidbits. We not only saw the stars but got out by the lake for a few minutes. Our star guide shared astronomy, history, and mythology as we took turns looking at the sky through a very nice telescope. Really enjoyed the experience.


