Our day trip was fantastic! Our guide/ driver were very nice and helpful. The best part was the desert 4wheeling and sunset sandboarding. Lots of beautiful pictures. The dinner show was fun too! Even the buffet food was quite delicious with the BBQ and fresh made roti! Great value for a half day experience. Pleasing my husband and teenage daughter were not easy and we all had smiles on our faces!

The driver, a young Arab man, picked us up at the hotel promptly at 2:30 PM in a 7-seater SUV. Our family of three was picked up along the way, along with two other foreigners. My 1.75-meter-tall son had to stretch his legs diagonally in the last row. Thankfully, the drive only took about 50 minutes. At the rest areas and campsites, many enthusiastic Arabs tried to sell paid services. If you don't want something, be sure to say "NO" immediately. Don't be shy and end up being tricked into buying something. We booked a group tour for a little over 500 RMB per person. Overall, the activity was quite interesting, adding a new dimension to the Dubai desert adventure. The activity ended around 8:30 PM, and the vehicle returned to the hotel. We arrived around 9 PM, showered, and went to bed. The Ctrip customer service provided continuous WeChat support throughout the trip – a big thumbs up! 👍

Overall, everything was as described. We were met by a friendly guide, Chill, who checked us in and showed us onto the deck. Photographers immediately rushed over to snap our photos, so we could get printed photos upon departure (additional charge). After departure, drinks were served, and the guide explained the plan. Unfortunately, due to strong winds, we didn't make it to Atlantis, but we had a nice swim. It wasn't exactly a "wow"—it depends on your experience and expectations. The views of the endless construction site can have a slight impact, but it was quite nice nonetheless. The guide kindly took my photos on her phone. An hour later, delicious food was served. Overall, it was a commendable event.

A superb opportunity to see the Palm, the marina, and the Burj Al Arab from the sea! It's just a shame the explanations are only in English, as it's not always easy to understand everything (audio guides would be great).
