Michael and the drivers were an excellent group to guide myself and my family on the tours of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Michael was very knowledgeable and the tour was exceptional. We saw some fantastic places and got context of the meaning of what we were looking at. Michael described what it was like to be living in these cities before and during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. I highly recommend Michael and. Askos Tours.

Herculaneum opens up to the public with a quick visit to the ticket office. The audio guides are interesting, and there's so much to see. The staff at the entrance are friendly. It's a shame I wasn't able to see the Villa of the Papyri, which had piqued my interest.
