Bought a Europe eSIM from Trip.com for my visit to Split. Activation was quick and straightforward, and I was connected right after arrival. I used it when sightseeing in Zurich. The setup process involved opening the voucher sent via email, taking a photo of the QR code with another device, and scanning it on the device I was using, or opening the URL and scanning it. It was easy to set up. While it might depend on the location, I was able to use it in Liechtenstein, which is next to Switzerland, as it picked up Swiss signals. (Although I only used it for Google Maps.)

I recommend this because it has a reliable Orange connection with calling capabilities. Before traveling, you register your domestic phone number with hotels and local tour companies, but once you're there, I disabled roaming and switched to the phone number provided by the eSIM. I didn't experience any emergencies, but it gave me peace of mind in case I got lost or couldn't find the meeting place. I didn't use customer support, so I've given it an "average" rating.
