Finally, it was my turn to have my Hanfu photoshoot at Yu Garden! (I'd already taken photos in all the ancient towns around Shanghai, but never in Shanghai itself – a bit of a waste of time, haha!) The shop had so many packages to choose from, it was overwhelming on my tablet! I finally picked a traditional opera-themed set. The makeup and styling were exquisite and beautiful, the photoshoot was quick and great, and I got the retouched photos on the spot – I was extremely satisfied.

This is a definite hidden gem 💎! The location is a little tricky to find but the staff are very helpful and friendly they can help guide you where to find it! We got one of the packages for 1 hour hair+makeup and photoshoot! The photoshoot was fun and the photos came out amazing! Would highly recommend anyone looking for an amazing photoshoot!

It was a truly unique and worthwhile experience. They did my hair beautifully and even did lovely photo editing for the photoshoot! 😍 I had my photos taken with the night view in the background. The hair and makeup artist was especially kind, making it a wonderful memory! 🤩 It's easily accessible from the metro station and also conveniently located near the Bund, a popular photo spot!

There aren't many reviews, so I'm leaving one. They have a lot of pretty cheongsam clothes, and the makeup artist is really quick and precise. They quickly find styles and accessories that suit me, and they even made my hair look thicker and gave me earrings even though my ears aren't pierced. It seems like this place isn't well known in Korea, but I highly recommend it!

The makeup and photography experience at Xiao Canglan Photography was fantastic! The makeup artist's skills were top-notch; the makeup was clean, clear, and flawlessly applied, precisely enhancing facial features, making the photos look especially beautiful. They were patient and meticulous throughout the entire process. The location near the Bund is incredibly convenient. The studio is clean, comfortable, and has a warm atmosphere. The service was attentive and thoughtful. Overall, a perfect experience—highly recommended!
