I really had a good time with Master Yan with car 车牌13H10. He was helpful starting from our pick-up at the hotel, explaining what I had to do during the trip. He was very polite, respectful and helpful. Even if we didn't speak Chinese he translated for us at the main location so we know how to proceed. He even bought us dried fruits to taste the local flavors★

We really enjoyed this tour. It was well organized and a great way to get out of the city to see some interesting areas. Unfortunately, Yulin Grottoes didn't have any English guides around, so while what we saw there was interesting, it would have been nice to get more of the commentary. No cell service in most of the caves, so no option to use our translation apps. Our driver was very good, the lunch stop inexpensive and tasty, and the Chinese speakers on our tour of seven people made sure we knew what was going on. We're very glad we did this tour!★

First and foremost, I recommend that non-Chinese tourists install WeChat to facilitate communication with the organizers and the driver. My excursion went perfectly. I was the only foreigner in the car, but we managed using a translator. The tour included a visit to the canyon in the morning (3 hours), a lunch break in downtown Zhangye, and then Danxia National Park in the afternoon (4 hours). The tour duration was sufficient to fully enjoy the sites. My only slight complaint was that I didn't have an English-speaking guide, not even a virtual one, but this didn't bother me since I prefer to explore independently.★

There was quite a commotion because I lost my camera, but I was so grateful to our guide for going around everywhere with me to look for it and asking around, even though they couldn't even enjoy a relaxing lunch. Although we couldn't find the camera in the end... the people in the same group brought us snacks, so it didn't feel like a miserable day. It is a truly fulfilling tour that runs from morning until late at night. Every place was great, but the place where we stargazed at night is the most memorable. The stars were pouring down, almost enough to see the Milky Way! Since there are so many wonderful places and the travel distances are long, I think it is a good idea to spend at least one day in Dunhuang on a tour like this.★

The driver was exceptionally kind, calling in advance to confirm departure time and arriving on time. It was a small group tour, not crowded, very spacious, and the driver's skills were excellent, making the journey very smooth. On the return trip, because we hadn't planned our return time properly, the driver waited for us for a very long time, about half an hour. We were incredibly grateful to the driver and everyone else on the bus for their willingness to wait so long. However, the Danxia landform was so beautiful that we took our time sightseeing, and we didn't want to take up too much of the driver and other travelers' time, so we opted to return on our own. I highly recommend this tour; the price was very reasonable for the long distance, and the pick-up and drop-off service was very convenient, eliminating the need to go to the meeting point ourselves. The bus was also comfortable. Everything was truly exceptional. Finally, thank you again to the driver and other travelers!
