Reviews: One Cent Magenta Stamp Tour with Lunch
C***02023-07-20
We have just come from the One Cent Magenta Tour and we loved we every minute. A lovely couple bring it all to life and show and tell the story about the world's rarest and most expensive postage stamp which comes from Guyana. Lots of information and little surprises. The food was great and we learned lots. We are so glad we did it. You should do it too, we'll worth the money paid.

Reviews: Bicycle Guided Tour in Guyana
K***42024-03-08
Our guided bicycle tour of Georgetown was
Delightful! Accompanied by my daughter and son-in-law, we met Jerilyn? At the assigned location at 8:00am after arriving in Georgetown at 2:am the same day. We pedaled through the streets, and I was pleasantly surprised to see the drivers being respectful and stopping when waved at. Our guide was passionate, adding depth to our exploration with fascinating anecdotes and personal insights.
One highlight was indulging in the local street food scene at Bourda Market. From savory cassava balls to a soft puri, we enjoyed the Guyanese cuisine. It was a perfect complement to our sightseeing, since we had skipped breakfast.
As we meandered through the streets, we marveled at the changes and bustling markets. From the historic St. George's Cathedral to the colorful Bourda Market, and the Walter Rodney Anthropology museum, we got an overview of Georgetown
Overall, our bicycle tour was a memorable experience that exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend it to anyone looking to immerse themselves in the charm of Georgetown, Guyana. A big thank you to our guide for such a wonderful adventure! Just wait a day after arrival to schedule so you’re not too tired!

Reviews: Georgetown 7 Curry Tour
A***42024-05-18
We went on this tour with Jessica and Eon and we are so glad we did. It was our first time in Guyana and their information and local knowledge was invaluable! We learned so much about Georgetown’s history and culture and Eon and Jessica were thoughtful, kind, professional and caring all the way through. The food was phenomenal! They took us to Tony’s Puri Shop and the filled Puri was sooo delicious, unlike any other we’ve had before. We went to the market to get the ingredients needed for the famous 7-curry and went back to Eon and Jessica’s beautiful house where they have a shack in the garden and Eon cooked, while also guiding us with helping and teaching us the process. The outcome was a beautiful curry with rice and other curry and veg dishes, all served on lotus leaves we picked earlier and with a Puri of course! And then Eon sang some of his fantastic songs to us while we ate. In short this is an authentic dive into Georgetown’s culture, hosted by two beautiful souls that live there! Would wholeheartedly recommend! Thank you both so much, big love, Joel & Emilio.
