The itinerary was very tight, with plenty of attractions, but little time spent at each one. During peak tourist season, it was extremely crowded – basically, people arrived, took a picture, and were off. After our day trip in Suzhou, we spent almost an hour in the parking lot before transferring to the bus to Nanjing; the area was chaotic and needs improvement. The hotel in Nanjing wasn't great, but it was understandable given its "great value." Also, the female tour guide in Nanjing's Mandarin needs improvement; I couldn't understand much of what she said.
