We had an amazing experience on the hike to Bovilla Lake and Gamti Mountain from Tirana. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, and the booking process was smooth and hassle-free. The views at Bovilla Lake were absolutely breathtaking, and the hike up Gamti Mountain was both enjoyable and rewarding. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable throughout the trip. This tour matched the description perfectly and exceeded our expectations. Overall it’s a quite pleasant experience. I would recommend it. Only one tiny setback. On site, my confirmed notice with QR code given by trip.com as I ordered from wasn’t accepted. I was asked to download its App instead. Have expressed my difficulties, it finally accepted. It would be much better to clarify in advance, not confuse customers.

It was a fantastic hiking trip. The guide Kladji was excellent, very informative, friendly, supportive and very professional in what he does. He is an asset to the company. It was a well organised trip. If you have thought about doing this hike, make sure you do it it’s soo worth it. Also he was more than happy to take pictures for anyone who asked. Also one lucky member of a tourist on the trip also won a free trip giveaway organised by the company.

For me I was given too much detailed history of the country before we even walked anywhere. It was a lot to process all in one go. The tour got more interesting as we visited parts of the city. It was a shame that we were taken to eg. St Paul’s cathedral and couldn’t get inside due to the 6pm mass. Timing of tour should be better. Or leave it out. Listening to the tour guides own mother’s experience of how being ruled under communism affected her daily life was fascinating. I much prefer to hear this type of information as I probably wouldn’t find this on the internet or in a book.


