Alex did a great job. He has an architect background and showed us periodic homes of various countries’ designs in the course of our travels. He has a great mind for history both in sharing information and answering all our questions. We saw the hilltop monument, drove through and learned about the tunnels, and went up to what was once the biggest silver mine in the world, producing 60% of the world’s output. Our driver Tobias did great navigating the narrow streets. Comfortable van.

The hike was fantastic. The climb to the summit was very pleasant, with beautiful vegetation and a well-maintained trail. From the top of the mountain, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the city of Guanajuato and its surroundings. Spectacular! The descent was also very beautiful, although the trail was a bit more challenging, with different vegetation and atmosphere than the ascent. To make everything even more special, our guide, Raúl, stopped several times along the way to explain which plants and cacti we were seeing and to take amazing photos of us. At the summit, he explained the history of the area and many other interesting facts. This made the experience even more enriching and unforgettable. I definitely recommend it!
