Sanxingdui is an incredible museum and a must-visit for anyone interested in history and archaeology. The ancient bronze masks and artifacts are truly unique and unlike anything I’ve seen before. The museum is modern, well organized, and provides a fascinating insight into one of China’s most mysterious ancient civilizations. Highly recommended!★

Audrey Huang, our tour guide was fabulous and provided us with great information and details of the SXD relics and history. It was a info rich outing and quite be quite exhausting mentally. I must say that the museum was well designed and beautiful. Space management and guided tour content design was just enough. This tour is a must and highly recommended. The experience was excellent; the bus departed on time, and the 9-seater van was very comfortable. The morning drive was free of traffic, and we arrived at Sanxingdui in just one hour.
Our guide, Mr. Du, was very knowledgeable and the itinerary was well-paced. He also shared supplementary images in the group chat for further comprehension. After visiting the first-floor exhibition hall, we had a short break for water and snacks before heading to the second-floor exhibition hall. The whole experience was relaxed and not tiring at all.
We were dropped off at Chunxi Road promptly at 3:30 PM. After a rest and lunch, we headed to the airport, just in time for our evening flight.★

I visited Sanxingdui on my birthday, which coincidentally is the same year the major discovery was made (1986)! It was an incredible experience. The museum perfectly showcases the mysterious Shu civilization, with its one-of-a-kind bronze figures and captivating gold masks. The artifacts are so different from other ancient Chinese cultures, making you wonder about their origins. A truly unforgettable and mind-blowing place.
