Bright, vibrant, and grandiose—every frame deserves a standing ovation. This isn't just a performance; it's a fusion of circus, theater, and a sci-fi blockbuster. I left feeling like I'd stepped into a fairy tale, created by the whole world. The cruise itself, as a means of transport from Guilin to Yangshuo, is a good option, but there are some caveats. It's a long journey. A taxi from hotel to hotel takes about 1.5-2 hours. By boat, including transfer to your hotel and waiting time for departure, it's about seven hours. Our ship didn't stop anywhere, although other ships regularly stopped at beautiful spots. And the announcements for such spots weren't obvious. Because of this, we missed the view of the Seven Horses. The buffet was quite decent, and the views themselves, which are the main reason for the cruise, were wonderful.

Everything was fantastic. We had a dedicated guide/driver (Aa) just for the three of us. We also had a 5-seater car all to ourselves. Aa only spoke Chinese, but kept us informed in English through the apps. We also did the B version of the tour (bamboo boats). We visited all the points of interest on the tour, without rushing, without queuing, everything was well organized by our guide/driver. We highly recommend it. Thank you so much, Aa!

We were incredibly fortunate to have chosen Ctrip for our private tour of the Longji Rice Terraces, a journey of thousands of miles. We were especially lucky to have met our driver, Mr. Li! Mr. Li was extremely meticulous and attentive, with superb driving skills on the mountain roads! He not only provided a warm and detailed introduction to the scenic area but also tried his best to accommodate our requests. Because of our age, he repeatedly reminded us to be careful on the slopes and patiently accompanied us, including guiding us along the route and helping us take photos. We were deeply moved and are very grateful!

The cruise was really wonderful and the buffet lunch was good. The service was good as well. Unfortunately the sequential poorly organized seating had 2 of us on the first floor and one of us upstairs. There really should be better seat assignments to ensure that groups are put together as best as possible. Thankfully, they were kind enough to give us a bench together near the front…otherwise being so separated would have great affected our experience for the cruise. Based on the description, we thought we’d have a private car. We ended up being in a shared van and pickup was earlier than expected to accommodate picking up other passengers. This was ok but just not what we expected. We also thought it went until 1:30 but we arrived in Yangshuo around 12. Not sure why it was so much shorter than quoted Overall a great day, however, and would recommend this cruise. It would just be nice if the description and times were more accurate.
