Reviews: New Orleans: 9th Ward Hurricane Katrina History Tour
Guest User2026-10-28
This tour was incredible. Our guide was the victim of the Katrina aftermath. He shared audio interviews with community activists and congressional testimony where victims were bullied and treated very badly. Our elected officials were condescending and an embarrassment to those they represent. Seeing the levee and surrounding homes and churches that have been boarded up since 2005 was shocking. 3,400 families lived in the area at the time Katrina hit. A fraction of homes are rebuilt or still standing. Every American should see this. It's important. If we don't teach history we are doomed to repeat it. This can never happen again. I believe most Americans are better than what was exhibited those days and weeks following the storm. People were treated like animals. The tour was impactful and I'll never forget what I learned and saw. Keep this tour going....

Reviews: New Orleans: 2-Hour 15-Minute City and Cemetery Tour by Bus

Very informative. Our guide was so knowledgeable and also made it fun by his personality and jokes. We got to see much more of the city than we would have in our own. He even recommended a restaurant near our hotel which we went to and had an amazing dinner. The name was Mr. Ed’s and the charbroiled oysters were over the top scrumptious!! A wonderful day in New Orleans!

Reviews: New Orleans: Creole Queen History Cruise with Optional Lunch
Guest User2026-10-24
Our experience aboard the Creole Queen in New Orleans was wonderful, and a big part of that was our narrator, Charles. He was both incredibly informative and genuinely funny, striking the perfect balance between history, humor, and captivating stories. His narration kept us engaged and entertained throughout the entire cruise, making the experience enjoyable from beginning to end. Charles has a natural way of bringing the history of New Orleans to life while keeping things lighthearted and interesting. If you’re planning a trip on the Creole Queen, I highly recommend it—and if you have the opportunity to hear Charles narrate, you’re in for a treat!
