My trip to Beijing was a self-guided one, with round-trip high-speed rail travel; I could enter the station with just my ID card. I stayed at the Beijing Xinqiao Hotel, conveniently located above Chongwenmen subway station. Breakfast was included, and the buffet had a wide variety of options. Hotel service was excellent, and check-out was quick. The only downside was that the room window couldn't be opened and faced the restaurant. Overall, I was very satisfied and give it 5 stars!

Shennong Valley boasts beautiful scenery, perfect for leisurely hiking. The staff at the scenic area are also very friendly. Crucially, there are plenty of delicious restaurants at the foot of the mountain with reasonable prices.
